Located in Perry Florida fronting US Highway 27 / Florida Highway 19 is the first of the buildings to be renovated for the Perry Medical Complex. SSC was contracted to renovate an existing Pre-Engineered Metal building that had been a 2 story furniture store and convert it to a shared medical office building. There are 4 groups of physicians using the medical building. The spaces are divided up for Optical, Orthopedic, Dermatology, and specialized care by a hospital doctors group.
The patients have access through 2 fully ADA compliant exterior entrances. The rear entrance just off the rear parking area has a covered canopy at the door with an automatic opener. The front entrance has the same features with access from the front parking area in addition to having a drive under overhead canopy for easy and convenient patient drop-off and pick-up even in inclement weather conditions. The building is well lit throughout with low energy LED light fixtures.
The large open shared space waiting room has individual check-in and check-out stations for each medical office specialty. Just off of the waiting room is a Optical Display area that houses over 625 options for eyeglasses. The main waiting room has a centralized 20’ high octagonal atrium. The spaces in the building provide a warm and comfortable feel with the dark stained low maintenance luxury vinyl plank flooring that is continuous throughout. There are no thresholds inside the building providing easy access for individuals that use mobility devices.
