The New Titus Sports Performance Academy will be built on Welaunee Boulevard in Tallahassee. The project involves the site development of 5.7 Acres within the Canopy Development, near the proposed site for the New COT Senior Center. The overall site plan includes two main multi-story structures along with a field house, fields and courts, parking, site lighting and landscaping. Due to the nature of the site contours, the project will require a structural retaining wall to balance the site. The completed project will include many similar programs and functions such as recreation, reception, administration, assembly, classrooms, cafe, multi-purpose, fitness, wellness and related support spaces.
Southern Standard Construction inherited a project that was over-budget, and worked diligently with the owner/developer and design professionals to develop cost-saving solutions to bring the project within budget. Our pre-construction team provided cost and constructability analysis at schematic design to assist the owner in making critical decisions regarding the overall project scope.
